Summer Real Estate Outlook for Dilworth, NC - Charlotte Real Estate News. Although the general Real Estate news of Charlotte as a whole was negative last month, Dilworth continues to be one of the stronger areas of Charlotte. Sales and prices have dropped off from this time last year, but compared to other areas that have seen significant price depreciation Dilworth proves to remain solid. When compared to the previous month; home sales have doubled from 4 to 8, days on market are down from 126 days to 114 days, while the number of homes listed has remained the same. It is evident that people relocating to Charlotte and people moving within Charlotte still desire Dilworth's charm and its historical background. Dilworth is clearly a proven neighborhood that can withstand economic troubles and Real Estate downturns. The summer looks like as if it will be even stronger than the spring and the high inventory levels should start to work their way towards normal levels. As a result, prices should start leveling off and slowly move towards positive appreciation. I hope this proves to be true. From 4/1/09 through 4/30/09
